PASE provides electronic toll collection services for highways, urban expressways, and parking lots to individuals and businesses nationwide. When starting a business relationship with corporate clients, various documents must be signed, such as credit bureau inquiry authorizations, direct debit agreements, warranty policies, and service contracts, among others. If not managed in an orderly and efficient manner, this document load can create friction at a critical point in the customer experience.

Electronic signature with encrypted vault: security without technical friction‍

‍‍‍Since these contracts include sensitive information, PASE needed to implement robust security measures from the start of the signing process, following a preventive internal policy aligned with financial industry best practices. Furthermore, with clients located in different regions of the country, the process had to be completely digital to maintain operational efficiency.

To solve this challenge, PASE implemented the Mifiel platform with its encrypted vault functionality. This technology allows documents to be signed using end-to-end encryption, ensuring their protection throughout the entire process. Even Mifiel, as the provider, cannot access the content of the files.

‍As a turnkey solution, PASE was able to implement Mifiel immediately into its processes without the need for programming.

This same simplicity extended to the signer experience as well. Despite the high level of security offered by the use of end-to-end encryption, it did not require technical knowledge or complex steps from the users. This allowed PASE's clients to adapt to the new signing method with no learning curve.

In this way, PASE managed to protect the sensitive information in its contracts without complicating its internal implementation or the experience of its users.

‍Just one month after signing up for the platform, PASE was already actively signing documents with Mifiel. Since then, the business contract signing process—which previously took several days due to manual steps—is now mostly completed in just one day. This has significantly accelerated their service activation while maintaining high security standards and a seamless customer experience.
